Le Morette has a sixty year history in the small appellation of Lugana DOC located inside Lombardy. What had originally started as simply a vine nursery turned into a now three generation family operation that focuses on authentic expressions of local varieties such as Turbiana, a white grape similar to Verdicchio, and red grape Corvina. In their vineyards they focus heavily on agricultural biodiversity by utilizing organic practices to promote a healthy ecosystem around the grapes. Today, the team of Valerio, Fabio, and Paolo Zenato create wines to showcase the love they have for their home.

After decades of experience and education, Fabio and Paolo decided to expand their winemaking beyond Lugana. Together, they acquired additional vineyards in nearby Valpolicella Classico DOC of Veneto and started their Corte Volponi label. Here the team produces Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone, and even select Recioto sweet wines.
