About Melville
Meville was founded by Ron Melville and his sons in 1996 before the Santa Barbara area received AVA (American Viticultural Area) status. His vast experience working in vineyards in Sonoma coupled with his daring vision led to him to boldly establishing a vineyard and winery dedicated to cool weather grapes in an unproven region. His son, Chad, runs the show these days, continuing to grow beautiful fruit that they transform alchemy-like into critically acclaimed wines.

About Adam
Adam Etchegoyen is the Director of Sales and Hospitality for Melville and is a former fine dining sommelier. Despite his love for Santa Barbara wines, he was working in Aspen at Casa Tua when he cracked his first bottle of Melville Pinot Noir. After contacting Chad, it was only 10 short weeks before he left the Colorado Rockies in favor of Central Coast California to join the Melville team.
