Free Saturday Tasting

Free Tasting with JP Bourgeois

Sat 09 / 10

Description

Join us this Saturday for a public tasting featuring wines of the south of France. Behind the bar will be our good friend Jamie Trott from importer, JP Bourgeois, pouring some of our favorite late summer/early fall wines that need to grace your table as we transition into a new season.

JP Bourgeois, named after owner Jean-Philippe, is an upcoming importer of small estate wines across Europe. Though specializing in France and Spain, they’ve expanded into areas like Slovenia as they continue their search for outstanding wines made with respect to their land and traditions. These wines are small-scale and handcrafted with many of the wineries practicing organic if not biodynamic farming principles.

Jamie Trott, the Mid Atlantic Sales Director for JP Bourgeois, is a Raleigh native and himself a former fine dining sommelier. The erstwhile sommelier and manager of Artisanal Restaurant in Banner Elk, NC has expanded the scale and scope of his career moving from restaurant service to wholesale and now to importing.

All wines tasted are discounted to-go:
10% off by the bottle, 15% off 6+ bottles (mix or match)
