Join us this weekend for our 7th Annual Korktoberfest festivities as we celebrate wine, beer, cider and food – not just from Germany, but from all around the world.

We’ll have delicious free tastings all weekend long and special deep deals on shop favorites and brand new arrival wines. Plus, we’re fortunate to have a bunch of old and new friends from around town and beyond joining in on the fun sampling their delicious goods. Also, come hungry for we have special lunches and events planned for you Saturday and Sunday!

11am – 1pm: Escazu Chocolate Tasting
Our friends from Escazu Artisinal Chocolates will be on hand sampling their locally made, award winning bean to bar chocolates

ine & Cider Tastings

Andrea Fulbright of The Haw River Wine (wo)Man and Zingo Munger of Cape Classics will be pouring some of their delicious Italian, French and South African wine imports as well as a domestic Cider.
Noon – 4pm: Lunch with Capital Club 16
Capital Club 16 will be on hand selling sausages, pretzels  and other delicious Germanic-themed lunch foods
1pm – 7pm: Beer tasting & Glasses
Trophy Brewing Co. will be on hand pouring samples and selling glasses of their take on the classic Octoberfest Märzen beer – Octrophyfest on draft!
3pm – 6pm: More Wine Tastings
Our own Nikki Pletcher, now of Bordeaux Fine & Rare, and Ariel Titterton of Advantage Distributing will be tasting some stellar wines from their portfolios
3pm – 6pm: Provisions Tasting
We’ll be sampling a selection of some of our favorite local and artisanal provisions from such craftspeople Orrman’s Cheese ShopGreen River Picklers, Charlito’s CocinaThe Accidental Baker, and locally sourced honey from our certified organic CSA at Hilltop Farms.

 Sunday: Store Hours: Noon – 5pm
Join us again on Sunday for The Glenwood Faire – an outdoor food and shopping festival – even more special guests and a last chance to take advantage of our storewide sale!

Noon – 3pm: Snacks
Kimberly Brackett-Jones of Five Points Baking Co. will be sampling her delicious gluten free cheese straws and seasonal pumpkin spice shortbread
Noon – 4pm: Beer tasting & glasses
Our friends from Trophy Brewing Co. will be on hand again with more delicious wine on draft
1pm– 4pm: Even More Wine Tastings!
Our own Robin Bodwin of Proof Wine & Spirits will be on hand pouring some of her tasty wines
1pm– 4pm: Meet the Importer
Join us inside for a special tasting with the entertaining and knowledgeable wine importer & sommelier Max Kast Broadbent Selections
1pm– 5pm: The Glenwood Faire
