About the Winery

Blair’s outstanding Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines from their ancestral homeland have garnered the attention of acclaimed Burgundy importer Becky Wasserman, as well as many Burgundy-philes across the country. His intent focus on keeping the terroir of the region front and center shines in the benchmark 2015 vintages that you will be able to taste with the winemaker. They’re exceptional representations of their respective places of origin throughout Burgundy, from the humble Burgundy appellation to some of the most coveted of Premier Cru wines.These dinners are hallmarks of restaurants in cultural benchmark cities like New York, LA, and Paris, but here in Raleigh it is a unique experience for us to be able to welcome a Burgundian winemaker to our burgeoning food scene which includes the locavore centric Mandolin – a staple of seasonal and sustainable Southern cuisine downtown.chef fowler

About the Restaurant

Headed by the talented Chef Sean Fowler, Mandolin is focused on bringing the best, seasonal ingredients to the table from farms across the state. Both born and raised in North Carolina, Blair and Chef Sean are putting together a unique menu, bringing together Mandolin’s NC rooted food and Blair’s stunning Burgundy.It’s going to be a delicious night that brings a one of a kind experience right to our Raleigh community in the Five Points neighborhood. There’s something to be said for focusing on the best ingredients in your food and there should be no exception in your wines – especially from a place as regionally gifted as Burgundy.
